Certified copies come from the Mississippi State Department of Health, Vital Records (official site).
The first certified copy is $17 and each additional copy ordered at the same time is only $6, so order them all together. Records are mailed within 7 to 10 business days. You can go in person to the Ridgeland office at 222 Marketridge Drive, weekdays 8:00am to 4:00pm, where you can pay by cash, money order, cashier's check, or credit card. By mail, send to Mississippi Vital Records, P.O. Box 1700, Jackson, MS 39215-1700, and pay by cashier's check or bank or postal money order only, because personal checks and cash are not accepted.
